New York Life Ventures, the third largest insurance company in the U.S., turned to Mercury Architectural Lighting to engineer and produce the lighting for its new space in the Flatiron district.

They chose from Mercury’s Architectural Cove line, specifically the LightCoves Knife Edge. Typically wall-mounted, in this project we modified and customized the run to transition from a wall mount to a stem mount to maintain clean, continuous lines. The end result was a cohesive, aesthetic appeal to complement the iconic building’s neo-gothic elements without interrupting the flow or the function of the space.
