The Mercury Lighting Process
Follow the entire process of our LW14 series as we take you from the initial computer assisted design (CAD) through delivery on one of our company trucks.
Luminaire Design
Everything starts with CAD drawings by qualified engineers who lay out the luminaire to insure the highest quality and performance.
Fabrication
Our metal operation then takes and downloads the information into fully automated and computer controlled machines to stamp out and shape the luminaire housings. Laser cutting is used to create radiuses and bending machines turn flat parts into useful shapes.
Painting Process
Upon completion the housings are sent to our painting operation where all parts are covered with a highly durable white polyester powder coating, or a color of choice.
Plastic Extrusion
Diffusers are being extruded through proprietary custom built extrusion dies after considerable design and custom blending of acrylic materials.
LED Population
We incorporate only the highest performance LED modules limited to select manufacturers who offer corresponding LED drivers. We match these up for what we call “a systems approach.”
Driver Programming
We electronically tune all drivers in house on a per-order basis before they are sent to assembly for that specific order.
Precision Plastics
Diffusers get pre-cut on precision cutting equipment prior to being sent to assembly.
Painting Process
Upon completion the housings are sent to our painting operation where all parts are covered with a highly durable white polyester powder coating, or a color of choice.
Shipping
Finally we ship it quickly to your job.
